as the title say I am building a chevy Ironblock bored to 392

and I have in the shop 2 cams, one is the MS3 cam with a 112 lope, the other one is a LS9 cam with 112.5 lope

wich cam could work better?

finally

as I want to use a LSA blower... what would be the Ideal head to go with the MS3 cam or the LS9 cam?

MS3 cam is a big cam. would need a high stall converter if auto. Might be ok with your cubes but LSA blower is not a very big blower to run with that cam and those cubes.

LS9 cam is good for boost and that blower but is a little small for those cubes. Would be a perfect daily driver or weekend cruiser that puts down gobs of torque.

Really depends on the rest of the setup and the use of the car but I think the MS3 cam would be more suited to a high rpm N/A or centri blower race type setup where some street manners can be sacrificed.

Custom spec cam if it's basically a one off motor.

We just made 980 rwhp in a 6.0 LQ9 with a Texas Giant camshaft (248/254 on a 112) and twins... I'm not at all kidding. It's a 6 speed car of course but it drives like a big cam car, but with a ton more power.

The MS3 will need a 3200-3600 converter.

Considering you want to run that small of a blower my recommendation would be to contact us and get a custom grind setup done. Either of those will "work", I'm not a fan of the LS9 camshaft and the MS3 is a bit on the aggressive side.

When you call in ask for Chris, he'll get you taken care of. 817-750-2000
