To the OP, your chest should be sticking out further than Dolly Parton. Isn't this why we have nice cars? So that we can fill good when someone's neck turns or says "wow, what a nice car you have." I WANT people to stop and take pictures. That makes me feel as though I have something unique. As long as someone is not touching or sitting on it, no one should be mad over a picture. Which, by the way, is entirely legal whether you want the picture taken or not. If the car is in a public place, it's open game.

Sometimes a pic of your car can end up on a vendor's site. They were kind enough to ask permission.

A few years ago, back when the 5th Gen was a lot less common, I was waiting near my kid's school, waiting to pick her up, when my older daughter texted me.

She said that some girls had just posted a picture (on FaceBook) of this "awesome" car they saw parked near the school. My daughter recognized the car, and the dad who was sitting in it. She sent me the pic.

Sure enough... there I was, in the pic, still sitting in the same spot. I could even see who the girls who had taken the pic were.

That was pretty cool...

Has happened a few times. I've had them at shows plenty and had plenty of pictures taken. No different if it's sitting in a parking lot. So long as you don't touch it, I don't care in the least. Want to claim it's yours on Facebook, well you're only fooling yourself but it has no bearing on me. The only one that threw me off was finding my IROC for sale on craigslist for 5k.

So in other words, you park your hot car(whatever it is) at the local hardware store and someone sees it, why not take the opportunity for a photo shoot?

It's one thing to touch, a whole different story when they're just admiring without touching.
That sure makes the 5th gen look big

I have been asked numerous times to have pics taken of my car, usually in the most odd places. I have no problem, especially when i'm rocking the autobot symbol and now the bumblebee lettering. never bothered me one bit that they take pics of it. I encourage the young kids to get in on the picture, they just grin ear to ear that I let them.

As long as they don't touch it I wouldn't care at all.

This thread is a total before it even leaves the garage.

I can't imagine why anyone would care...I have pictures taken of my car all the time. I don't care if they touch it and the only thing that bugs me is when they try to see inside of the car and leave greasy face oil on my windows.

I'd walk right up to them and ask, "Are you going to tag me?" At this point, we'd exchange Instagram accounts and talk about how awesome Camaros are.

Congratulations on coming out during lunch. But does it really count if you do it with strangers? Have you come out to your family yet?
