I'm curious to know how much of a PITA it'll be to install them. Or more precisely, how much of a PITA it'll be to remove the stock cradle bushings.

Please update on the install and of course the driving impressions.

if its anything like the video in the DSE coilover post in the suspension forum, they were using a sawzall to cut em out

install should be as easy as any other bushing replacement.

Good stuff

still debating on getting those rear knuckles. the bushings are supposedly stiffer.

I have the skinnier of the front links, could you let us know the difference in the larger ones when you get em? I heard it was the bushing is stiffer there as well, cause the skinnier of the links have a spherical bearing in them.

I think you have a SS 1LE. I assume you are first installing the DSSV suspension?

I didn't realize that that parts kit works with the MRC suspension.

What are the differences between this kit and what comes with the SS 1LE? (front ride links, front handling links, rear upper and lower trailing links specifically?)

The product description compares to the SS, which is why I'm curious. The SS 1LE already gets those parts upgraded over the SS. Are the part numbers in this ZL1 1LE kit different from the SS 1LE?

Without actually measuring the deflection forces of each bushing, it'll always be speculation. Logically, however, stiffer bushings are requisite for higher g-forces to maintain rational dynamic alignment.

The problem is none of the online parts catalogs are updated with the FEA suspension arms, so unless someone has access to a dealership parts computer, we'll have to wait to definitively answer the question of differing part numbers.

I understand what your saying. Parts are packaged as ZL1 1LE kit not SS 1LE. I need to get busy and start tearing into it to see if parts visually look different BUT as stated that means nothing.

The ZL1 1LE carries a FEA suspension as apposed to a FE4 that's found on the SS 1LE and ZL1. Right now he'd be changing to a Solid Mount found on the FEA.

From what we've found, several things are the same between the FE4 and FEA regarding the handling kit
