Thats one of the least likely things to change in a refresh. Fascias, powertrains, interiors ... all that is fairly easy to update. But actual body panels? That is very expensive change. Thats why it pretty much only happens in a generational change, not refreshes.

The M7 doesn’t fit the Alpha trans tunnel. I would be surprised if GM redesigned the trans tunnel to fit the M7.

Probably nothing. They would have to change the transmission case or the trans tunnel and I doubt they did either.
