This was a crappy first impression. Grainy screen grabs off the TV is not how I wanted to see the new car. I would have avoided it if I could but it was all over facebook and this site when I woke up.

Need an in between drool and meh option. How about an "I like it" option?

My opinion, its an improvement over the 14 - 15 (rear end). I like it...I'm in. Front looks good. Side profile and new lower stance is excellent. Back end is the only downside, and once we see better shots I may feel better about it.

I don't get it. Why bother planning out an all day event and then undercut it by showing it on TV?

As with anything, people will like it more over time. Whenever anything changes or you experience something new, whether better or worse, there are hordes of people complaining. Once our brains get used to something we like it more.

If you're referring to gen5's "shoes", they weren't that big. This is a definite improvement over that car in every way, but the inside is still a mystery. Can't be worse though, that's for sure.

I think we all had our wish list. I was wishing for a retro 2nd gen model, with a homage to the 1970 big square grill and pointy nose. I didn't get what I wanted. Even so, it's a nice looking car. Hopefully, it will be a great performer and GM will sell a bunch of them.

I think the disappointment people have is the fact that it REALLY IS a refreshed 5th generation. It looks like a continuation of the latest 5th generation taillight, with a updated headlight assembly. Its not a bad looking car, its just the same thing thats already out there.

Anybody looking to get anything that looks radically different, head on over to the 2015 mustang.

I don't know where you get the idea those weren't big shoes. If the style of the '06 concept hadn't been such a hit, and the production design kept it intact, the Camaro would still be dead. In fact, it was so big, GM was literally banking on it's success to help pull them out of bankruptcy.
