So whats the deal here? What strings are your dealers pulling to get this to work?

The only difference between this offer and the prior one, is the date range.
Where can I go to see if I qualify ?

I received the e-mail with the private offer right out of the blue..

I DO own two Chevy's (15 Malibu, 13 ZL1 Camaro) and have bought several Chevy's in the past (including a 11 Camaro).

No idea what prompts GM sending th ee-mail.

No dice

I tried the offer at my local dealer today. They looked up my code and said it doesn't apply the new 2016s, only the older 15s on the lot.

After some pleading, they agreed to match the $1000 offer, so those who get the offer might be able to use it for negotiating leverage.

I also qualify for supplier pricing, so I asked if they would let me stack the $1000 off with supplier pricing. No dice, supplier was the lowest they were willing to go.

I may try another dealer this weekend, since it seems others had better luck.
