New owner

Hello all,

I just bought a red 2015 LS manual this weekend and it's great!. I plan to add a CAI with a minor tune in the future. Any specific recommendations? Also, I'm changing out the tranny and differential fluid, but Mobil 1 75w-90 has limiter slip additives, will that hurt the transmission? Please move this thread if in the wrong section.

Thanks!

Yes if you put the heavy gear oil in the transmission it would be bad. Make sure you get the correct transmission fluid and know how to fill it if you are going to mess with that.

The manual actually calls for 75w-90 in the Manual V6

Don’t know about the m6 and what it takes or if it’s any different than the autos. The additive is a must for the differential.
