Anyone watch Wheeler Dealers?

Love that show. I cannot believe the low prices they pay for some of those cars. Really wish they did purely American muscle for a while.

They got an amazing Audi TT for peanuts on the last one I watched.

I love that show as well. I like the fact that Ed seems to really care about fixing what needs fixing rather than doing a band-aid job. He does use the "rattle can" method too often though. I would take Ed's work over Gas Monkey any day.

I've been watching for a while and ED is a seriously good mechanic.

some of the stuff Edd does is amazing the one that blew my mind was the Audi TT that only had like 3 out of 6 gears working, he found out that the arm that moves the syncros for 4-6 was broken (it fell off luckily without damaging the tran) he reattached it using a nut and bolt and it was good as new.

I love when Paul helps Ed every now and then. He doesn't smile much, but I bet he is an expert mechanic as well. He probably helps out a lot more than we see.

Yeah....you know Ed is getting paid pretty well so his labor is not technically "free". Imagine the stuff you could accomplish if you had a mechanic that good that was actually working for free.

Love the show too, for what was said before about the lack of manufactured drama and bs deadlines. I just wish the show was easier to get. They only have clips on their website, and youtube pulls them down quickly, except for the postage stamp sized captures. I wish netflix carried it.

Get UVerse. So much better than Time Warner was and they have like 4 or 5 episodes per day on the Velocity channel.

Direct TV has them on too.

Watch the show, of course, seen most of the episodes, and have my favorites kept on the DVR. Really fond of the Morgan and TVR episodes in particular.

A garage like Edd's is on my, "if I ever come into some serious money," list. Now to develop something approaching his level of mechanical knowledge and skill.

Oh, if you haven't read the wiki article on him you might want to check it out. He holds a few interesting records.

I really like the episode with the 1964 Corvette. Paul looked genuinely happy when he purchased it.

Loads of great episodes. Sometimes I wonder how Edd fits into some of their featured cars. I liked the episode with the RX-7, but then they added the snake skin wrap.
