My guess is you are correct, mid 60s for a fully optioned car, once the hype is over, you will be able to purchase these for mid-upper 50s. SRTs have always been priced high then heavily discounted. Example my 12 SRT8 was stickered $50,800.00 my purchase price was $43,500.00. When the dust settles it will be inline with the GT500 and an optioned out ZL1.

Bring on the feline! I can't wait to see them at the strip with a guy wearing a "Dodge SRT" hat on street tires. When they spin and cut a 2.2 60', it will be over. All kidding aside, it will run approximately 11.6-11.8 with the weight it has to push. The current 6.4 hemi cars never run better than 12.4 at my track and none of them ever have drag radials.

The 6.2L Hellcat is an Iron block. The Hellcat weight is 4450 lbs and the SRT 392 is 4250 lbs

Your right I ran 12:40s at VIR with all the nannies on and a 1.87 60' time completely stock with my 392 launching at 1000-rpms. My car didn't have the LC as it came out in 13 but the TC on the 392 automatic cars is not restrictive like they are on the Camaro, I expect the same with the Hellcat. Look for very good 60' times out of the automatic.

Wow...for real ??
300 pounds heavier than the stocky ZL1.
In that case, the fat-cat will definitely not rule the twisties.

Why have they not switched to aluminum blocks yet. But on the other hand iron block that might take more boost reliably

I'm fairly certain that if you had a new hellcat and $35K for mods, then raced me in the quarter mile, 1 mile and road course, I could win 2 out of 3. I'm pretty sure I could build my car again from scratch for $35k.
I agree - many more aftermarket performance goodies available for Chevy than Dodge. I, too looked at the SRT Core hard before buying my 2SS....but I really wanted a ZL1

I wouldn't be. That idea is GM's deficiency.

Looks really good but the only car I would consider trading for is a ZL1. Plus I imagine the sticker price here in Canada is going to be over $100k or very close to it!
