How to tell the different between a pressure crease or a bad paint job?
I got my door skin replaced about a year ago, and I noticed there was a big wave in the paint from probably a bad clear coat job. I'd been waiting to get it taken care of until I had some time this summer.
Just recently some one told me it was just a pressure crease and could be taken out with a PDR guy. They said the door skin probably had something else leaned on it in the shop. Is there any way to tell ?? |

All I have right now is some cell phone pics.. It's hard to notice cause I just machine polished and sealed, but its on the front of the passenger door, under the crease.

Might try shooting it from a different angle. Might also try a reflection in the paint of a wall/ground with lots of parallel lines.
If you never told the shop about it immediately after the repair they're not likely to warranty it unless it's obvious it could only have been done by them. And yeah, that's some awesome work you did there, slick!

Looking between the parallel lines, at the reflection of where the driveway meets the street, there is a slight upward transition from left to right which would lead me to believe there is a very slight change is the surface. My first thought is one of the PDR places. If I were in your position I would be torn as well.
Very nice polishing job. Who's products did you use?

if you want to see if its bad paint simple.
1- Open Glove Box 2- Unfold ownership 3- Look for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 4- If any of above match it's bad paint.
