Well this answers a question I had. I bought a 14 2SS with a keyless fob for a stick shift car lol... I'm guessing the fob is what prevents the car from tooting the horn if I try to just use the spare/bare key in my wallet? (until the key gets in the lock cylinder)

Glad I joined this forum and saw this thread. I’ve hated the switchblade ever since I got the car a few months ago. Just seemed like a gimmick. I’m getting this done tomorrow if I can.
Edit: Okay, I know this may seem kind of obvious (it wasn't for me) but you need to bring your car in to the dealership for the recall since they have to reprogram the key. Guess it will have to wait until the snow goes.
