Best way to sell a car?

So I have had my car listed on Craigslist for over a month in multiple areas and had zero responses on it. So wit that being said, what is the best way to sell/list a car for sale?

Am I asking too much? It's a 2010 2SS/Rs L99 with 78k miles on the clock. I'm asking $20.5K with others being listed in my area for a few thousand more.

Thanks

$20,500 seems high b/c it's over 20 grand. I wouldn't lower it by a grand I'd make it $19,885. No one advertises cars for that off-center amount.... or, keep it priced where it is and return it to stock. No one wants to feel like they have to pay for your mods.

Include pics of both keys and all the manuals. Get it inspected. It'll cost you more if you do that but you'll turn it faster.

Thanks, dropped price under $20k, and will add pictures of manuals and keys when I take them.

Should I add my car on sites like autotrader?

Autotrader is a great place to sell a car like that. Craigslist people only want cars they can go garbage picking in to find gas grills to sell back on craigslist. Its the new internet economic model; barely used gas grills and pickup trucks.

Make sure you renew the ad as often as you can and maybe switch up the title every once in a while. I also made a second ad after a while so I could have one at the top of the search page every day. I think you can only renew it once in 48 hours?

I've only sold 2 cars on Craigslist, both Camaros, that I listed at the beginning of the summer and both took till about August to sell. It could be the high mileage hurting you in this case. You might have to lower it a bit more than that. Depends on how badly you want to sell I guess.

I guess I will add it to autotrader as well then. I kinda agree about craigslist mostly being a site to sell cars that are junkers.

As for lowering it more than I already have it, that will not be happening. I went to Carmax the other day and they gave me the written offer of $18,500

I've sold my last few cars on Craigslist and got pretty close to my asking price, as in within $500. The longest I had to wait was two months. Take good pics, provide as many details as possible, and be patient.
