Question L99 with muffler delete and cats delete

Hello everyone
I have l99 engine and right now I have only a muffler delete with Magnaflow x pipes and its not that loud.
So I'm thinking to get cai, Jba cats delete, and a tune from Ted Jannetty Racing.
My Question is this setup will make my car sounds louder and more aggressive ??

cai will increase engine bay sound. Cat delete will make it a tad louder but is moreover for power gains. Tune will remove AFM so that will make it sound nicer. Your best bet for the ABSOLUTE loudest...like NASCAR loud is to keep your muffler delete and x pipe and add some long tube headers with no cats. Closest thing you will get to open headers. It was my setup before I got pulled over lol

Long tube headers! For sure! You will need a tune after that.

Yeah, the long tubes are the way to go for sound........

I have a CAI intake with scoop, muffler delete, and just added SP long tubes with Hi flows to my L99. With the stock resonator I was getting a lot of attention going down the highway. I called it the "GOD DAMN!!!! effect"....definitely snapped a few heads around.. I took it to Baltimore right after I got it done and my wife was telling me that people with their windows down were ducking as I went by them. It was very mean sound but very raspy especially at the higher RPMs. So I went and took out the stock resonator and added a Magnaflow resonated X pipe. Its a deeper throatier sound which sounds great at the higher RPMs, but a little quieter than I wanted at the lower end, but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. Plus with that resonated X it should now pass inspection next year no matter what.
I just got my tune done at Horsepower Addicts in St. Georges yesterday morning......Sounds much better with AFM tuned out and lets just say it was a fun ride back to Kent County.

If I can ever get my scheduling in order you should join us for a few meetups and shows. Hopefully, I will be getting a trip up to Kirkwood Hwy Hooters going here soon. Later.

I also have a video on my cell phone of a take off with the old set up before I added the resonated X if you want to hear what it will sound like.

I would suggest a set of long tube headers / cai combo. Then go from there, you will be surprised at the gains in hp / sound from a good set of LT Headers.

And then tune.

Headers will be the biggest contributor to sound....here is mine with the x pipe, no cats, and headers

It will be loud, raunchy and sound extremely mean.

I had close to that with bullet mufflers, and it was mean but after a while I was nervous that every popo within a 1/2 mile could hear me messing around and was looking for me.

The cats muffle the exhaust quite a bit. With no mufflers or cats, it will be quite loud and drone even worse than it does now.

I was thinking about buying headers, but I have limited budget .
So do you guys know any cheap long tube headers that will fit and work perfect??

Sorry for my poor English

Budget headers, I always recommend TSP. They're a sponsor, and will back up their parts. OBX or the other cheap ebay headers may be a tad cheaper but if you have a issue with them, there's no one to call. $520 for 1 7/8in or 2in 304SS, offroad pipes, and O2 extentions is damn cheap. That's everything you need to install and go, besides the tune.
