A well deserved win! I do wish the Camaro looked as good as the new Mustang or that the new Mustang delivered like the new Camaro. Sigh. I await both revisions.

In reality the 2015 did gain almost 130lbs over the 2014. The 2014 GT came with spare tire and jack while the 15 only got the air compressor kit. There is a 40lb difference just in that. So car for car with no spare, the 15 is 130lbs more.

Those saying the new Camaro looks too much like the old one saying it needed to be revolutionary instead of evolutionary forget the Mustang redesign wasnt anything revolutionary either. I dont understand the beef with it. They are both better cars than the ones they replaced, and thats what matters.

Those that are calling MT Chevy trend need to go back and read all the articals they did gushing over the 2015 Mustang.... Jealosy pure and simple.

+1 Adam was exceptionally unfunny, and looked / acted like he hadn't prepped at all. It would have been better if he literally had phoned it in. If I were Motor Trend, I would want my money back.

I lived for a total of 13 years in Europe mostly in Germany. You're right, they tax based on engine displacement, but that didn't stop the European community from buying 6.2 and 7 liter Corvettes. There are probably more Corvette clubs in Germany and Italy than in the USA. There's also a huge Camaro following in Germany, Poland (unbelievable) and Italy. Europeans can generally afford the extra tax.

Looking at the Camaro win and all the complaints from other brand car fans, I think this: If the Camaro wasn't made by Chevrolet but had a 3 pointed star on the hood from Mercedes Benz, everyone would love it!...bar none. Look at what GM has done for the performance world from Luxury cars, Cadillac equaling BMW, Corvette trouncing the so called super cars from Europe to the Camaro that runs the Nurburgring nearly as fast as the fastest GT3...amazing. Check the Nurburgring records and you'll find the Chevy Cobalt SS still holds a decent place on the list for 4 cylinder cars. GM is really giving us what we want....no,...we need!
