where is the sweet spot on the ls3?

what RPMs do you guys think the sweet spot is at on the LS3?

I'm trying to figure this out as i'm trying to get used and learn the car. I picked it up three days ago and I'm trying to break it in nice and hard.

thanks guys.

realistically the LS3 starts pulling hard from 4,000 through 6,500. Still has strong low end power, but noticeably jumps up once you hit 4,000

I always thought that was due to the torque management in the ECU. It seems to pull better at low RPMs at 3/4 throttle then when you bury it taking off.

What I meant was this. What is the rpm range where you guys feel like the engine pulls the best. When you guys down shift and get on it what's the rpm range you try to be in?

Thanks for the info guys.

Mine pulls from 2000 all the way to red line.

Very flat torque curve with the S/C on it.

I never drove a STOCK one...

Good power is made around 4500 up to redline...you can be on the highway and running 70, downshift to third gear and you have all of the LS3 power you want right under your foot!

Mine is kinda delayed, almost like turbo lag. It's pretty strong but when you hit 5500 it shocks you.
