Can we see a photo of that? I'm curious how that looks.

What was your method of removal? Hair dryer and dental floss?

Googone and braid fishing line, line wrapped around 2 popsicle sticks so you can really "saw". - let the Goo gone work for 30 minutes, and they almost fall off.

It's quite possible. I've caught my basketball shorts on the Camaro lettering on the fender and a towel on the SS trunk emblem before. So it's not impossible to do. I also didn't talk to the owner of the car, so I don't know what kind of pants he was wearing or if they were pants at all. Just know what the shop owner told me.

Yeah, mine will be coming off asap when I get the car. That was my concern also, as I do rub up against the car, etc... it shouldn't have ANYTHING sticking off a bumper.

Also I just want to point out that ironically, GM said the SS / RS emblems were the only part to have carried over from the outgoing 5th gen. It's also the only part that seems to look incredibly misplaced on the vehicle.

Personally, if I had a 6th gen, I would remove the SS badges and buy a new set from GMPartsDirect and place them on the fenders under the Camaro logo. It would look 100% cleaner.

A questions worth considering, though: Are emblems even needed at all, especially when the 6th gen finally has physical characteristics that strongly set the SS apart from the base LT? Probably not.

The moment I purchase a C6 Camaro, those SS badges are gone. Probably will be put in the paperwork to remove them from front and rear. I HATE the placement of those badges. Complete afterthought on such a nicely designed car.

I wish they would not come with emblems and save a few bucks on each car.

Badges will be removed. If the rumble from the LT1 or the fact that I blew your doors off doesn't tell ya it's an SS then I can't help ya.

I have no problem with the emblem placement. Who rubs against their car anyways? When I move around my car, I stay as far away from it as possible
