I would be ok with that. My main dream would be for them to release a 1LE at launch with the 6th gen.

i feel we will have 1LE right out the gates. Whether or not it will be as good as the current will be the question. may also be better. may include the dry sump much like the Z51 vette....

Dry sump oiling and 6 piston front brakes would be more than enough to take the 1LE to the next level considering the awesome platform and powertrain that is due. Magnetic ride would also be great as an option.

I wonder if the color Hugger Orange is not out for licensing or legal reasons. It does seem like a logical color to offer.
As for the 1LE, my interpretation of that package is that the brilliant team that designed the Camaro still had plenty to learn when designing the 2010 model. I would expect 1LE performance out of the SS in 2016 with any track package coming later if they decide there is still room for improvement.

the Hugger Orange they had back in 1999 wasn't as good as Inferno Orange.
i bet the 1LE will forgo the wrapped hood next time. doesn't make sense for the 1LE to have that and the Z/28 not to. |

Is it just me, or is IOM really close to red? I'd like to see a 69 Hugger orange, but I don't think I'd buy one in that color.

as for the SS and 1LE, the SS is already at .90g with a great ride. if it goes beyond that the ride suffers, and there won't be any point in a 1LE, and the next ZL1 or Z/28 won't have as much distance between them. |

I understand what you're saying with how common they are, but from a track standpoint, I don't know what they can do to improve the handling without making the ride uncomfortable for most drivers. The power-weight ratio should improve, and the new V8 is going to add a lot of power.

I don't expect the 6th gen SS to outperform the 1LE but I would hope it is close. Either way, it doesn't matter to me. I would most likely buy a 6th gen 1LE, if they make one. I love the ride and handling of my '15 1LE.
