It should. Which is what gets me about the price...it is basically a SS exhaust that fits the ZL1.

Wrong.... it's more expensive therefore it is better. It's science.

Dumb question...but it sounds to me like the ATAK is louder at idle and under power. Is that correct?

It would be interesting to hear a stainless works zl1 and borla atak zl1 right next to each other.

Hard to do this on youtube, as even though I've found plently of videos of each, it is extremely hard to compare them on computer speakers.

I agree and I was kind of waiting on somebody to report on the Borla but I got impatient and went for it! I hope I'm not sorry...

What the hell is up with that pricing??? What do you think you've become there Borla? Capristo or Akrapovic? In my experience Borla is a "Make an ok exhaust for every thing and charge a reasonable price"...But I guess that's changed. $2,000+ for a cat-back is insane. I'll take Corsa, thank you.

Lol... I seriously consider keeping the stock exhaust and throwing headers on it and calling it a day.

Headers to GM's NPP has been the preferred route for modern GM performance vehicles since they dropped it in the Corvette in 2006. Allows valve control without buying a $2,500-$4,000 Meistershaft, Akrapovic, etc. system. Allows for just fine performance UNLESS you're shooting at BIG numbers. NPP systems are 2.5". 3" gains power at any level, but it's mostly if you're north of 750-800 RWHP that you'll notice a gain, and only over 800 RWHP will you notice a gain worth feeling in your pants.
