Fuel mileage

I've been through 3 tanks and seeing 20.5 to 22mpg so far. Although I've ripped on it a little here and there, my commute has a TON of highway miles. Like 40 out of 50 miles straight cruise control set a 70.

What are y'all seeing?

Kinda figured this thing to be more around 24 to 25. I know humidity is a bitch but....

FWIW I'm a gear skipper too. In the city I usually go 1st 3rd and 6th #4lyfe

Automatic 2LT: 16-17 City, 25+ Highway. I have been trying to figure out why my in town mileage dipped. Combined is typically 22-23 as I have a Cold Air Inductions, Inc., CAI and a racing scoop.

I would say you're pretty much on target. If you're wanting better mileage, drop your speed to 65; won't increase beyond 25, but will get you closer.

Who in the world buys a Z/28 and has a thought in their head about fuel mileage unless they are on the race track? In which case it is up to the driver.

FWIW I get 18.0 on my SS.

The SS gets 22-23 MPG on the Interstate if you take it easy. Anyone claiming
a lot higher (and there's lots here) is exaggerating. Been discussed many times.

2014 2SS convertible, auto, stock, 32k miles.

Interstate @ 70-80 mph: 21-22 mpg
Highway @ 55-65: 23.5-24
City: 19.5-20ish
All driving pretty conservatively and near sea level in elevation.

I don't pay attention to what I get. I didn't buy it to get great gas mileage and having a 3.91 rear end I know its terrible mileage.

Boy! If the EPA would calculate 'SMILES' per gallon I do not think anyone would complain! I have a difficult time wiping them off my face after a drive in my 2SS !!!
