It looks like there are 2 sets of holes there? I would have done as others said, drilled the license place to match the holes, not drilled the bumper to match the plate...

The "square" holes in the bumper are part of the molding and are NOT for the plate mounting.

Your dealer is a moron and can't follow PDI prep if they installed those plate mounts in the squares.

The 2014 bumper has several "dimples" to be drilled and the screw secures there.

I probably would not be so kind if this was a new car from a dealer. I would expect a repair that might include new body parts.

Same thing with mine. I just punched out 2 holes in the plate so it could mount.
Much easier than drilling through the bumper. I'd rather have extra holes in my plate instead of extra holes in the bumper.

If no holes have been drilled in your front bumber yet, Jacfab make a plate bracket that attaches under the front bumber to two preexisting bumper bolts.
