I am of the opinion that 0 is for 2010 having read up even more, it would fit with the cars age.
Here is a guess ...
All OEM batteries I've seen in Gen 5 Camaro are labeled AC Delco on top.
Your 2010 was likely built in 2009 and probably had an AC Delco battery manufactured around that time. They usually last 4 or 5 years so around that point someone replaced your battery with the Exide. Guessing that Exide was installed in 2013. The Exide battery 7 character codes in that table I posted from the Exide site show the Year is in first position ... which you show is a "3" in your post -- could that be indicating 2013? ... Unless they broke that convention for where your Exide was manufactured. Exide USA Battery date code is on the back-side most other countries seem to be on the top. You are in the UK region?

Just replaced a battery in a 3 year old Explorer. 'Course it is a Ford! (company vehicle) But Christian, I feel our RECORD heat had something to do with the dead cell too. Generally lose them in the winter, my first summer die off. Guess "they don't make em like they used to."

if it followed the date code for any, using only 3 digits, looks like 4L2 = MDY = April, 21st, 2012. Similar to the way Dell uses date codes below:

The first [hex] digit indicates the year of manufacture. 1-9 for 2001-2009 respectively, 0 for 2010, A for 2011, B for 2012, C for 2013, D for 2014, E for 2015, F for 2016, etc.
The second [hex] digit indicates the month of manufacture. 1-9 for January through September, respectively, and A-C for October through December.
The third [hex] digit indicates the day of manufacture. 1-9 for day 1 through 9 respectively, and A-V for 10-31.

I had a similar issue, never would have figured it out but I was stuck in a parking lot. Go to start it, no power no nothing. I somehow figured out that the fuse box was loose. I wiggled it around and power came back on. I got home, and there are 3 bolts holding the fuse box down. I tighten them up, I guess they came loose somehow. And now I don't have any issues. Try tightening those 3 bolts.

They just don't come loose. Good find tho. They were never tighten in beginning or prevoius work was done there. I have seen this working as tech. Even popping your fist on top of the fuse box will make connection sometimes. I've seen many of these fuse boxes go bad too, but not necessarily the camaro's.

I got a new battery and it spins over quite a bit faster, so obviously the old battery is no longer 100%.
I also made up an earth strap as in the link above as it certainly won't do any harm and in fact may do some good.

Yes, had experience on my S197 Mustang GT of water getting in the SJB, so bad I needed a replacement, in fact it quite a few water leaks for a car with only 17k on the clock.
I was hoping the Camaro might be better built....

Yes i'm in the UK, no idea where or when the exide battery went in. :(

Hopefully you are all set now - and that actually solved it. Then, if your Camaro's 4 year apparent track record holds true per battery, you won't need to be back to this thread until year 2021.
Unless alternator acts up lol

Thanks, I think, well lets face it, a 7 year old car with 13k suggests lots of being parked up which is never good for batteries.
