Is the spoiler also different? Please help!
You might be surprised with the SS fuel economy. What MPG does your IROC get?

Gotta agree, or maybe he's just learning the alphabet and numbers and needs more time to get the rest of them.

I own a V6 RS and like a few have said, just get an SS if you can afford it. Nothing wrong with wanting to make a V6 look like its more powerful brother, but like others said, you'll get no end when Camaro drivers realize that. There is no "performance" with the V6 model, so if you're looking for anything even remotely dealing with performance, get an SS. If you can afford it that is. The amount of money you would spend making your V6 look like an SS, you would have enough money to have an SS over a V6. So why not just get an SS?

Other people's ignorance doesn't determine the definition of a word.

this link shows exterior difference between RS & SS & base model

do you consider it to well describe the exterior differences?

OP, go to the GM web sight and compare the different models side by side, it will list all the differences!

The muscle car debate is an ongoing issue....with no resolve in sight.

Get what you want, make it look like what you want and everyone else can suck it- unless of course they are helping pay for it.
I'm happy with the V6. It's way more power than my 1975 Type LT Camaro. If I feel I need more than 323hp for whatever reason I've got something else for that.
Lots of people on this forum have a case of "what I have is better" attitude.

I really like the comments being made in this thread, why make a V6 look like an SS? that being said it seemed completely different comments the other day when the forums was discussing the following restricted parts, namely the commemorative edition badge.

Making a V6 look like a SS is like going clubbing with a cucumber in your pants.

I can't quote all of you so I'll sum most of it up here. No I'm not a troll I've been away from the car scene for a few years. I bought a cobalt as a daily driver and that was a regret. I just want a car with the looks even if it doesn't have the power. Someone asked how much hp my iroc made I think it's in the mid 400 range but I can't give you a for sure answer on that as it may be higher or even lower for all I know!

The RS I am looking at is a convertible just over $30k so jumping up to an SS from there will put me in the high $50's.
