I get that using ethanol doesn't really reduce overall Co2 emissions, but I can sure get behind cheap race gas, which is what it led to with E85. I mean, if I was really worried about climate change, would I be driving a muscle car? I'm trying to prevent the next ice age, which was a concern in the 70s.

Is it a good idea using more corn for fuel when we're in a Supposed global food shortage situation?

The corn used is not what we eat, it's field corn and we eat sweet corn.

But we do eat it, just not corn on the cob or frozen veggie.

"Only one percent of corn planted in the United States is sweet corn. 99% of corn grown in Iowa is “Field Corn”.
"While a small portion of “Field Corn” is processed for use as corn cereal, corn starch, corn oil and corn syrup for human consumption, it is primarily used for livestock feed, ethanol production and plastics and manufactured goods."

If there is a shortage of wheat, corn can be a substitute in some food staples, or rice too. We've eaten wheat or rice or corn in noodles or tortillas or cereal or bread for example.
Many farms can choose which crop to grow that year, and might choose wheat or soybeans if there isn't as much demand for corn.
I've worked in farmers corn fields as my first jobs. I think most of us fully support our farmers, and don't support waste or policies that don't help most people.

To be clear, the President, isn't. In charge of anything, obviously. The entire Biden Presidency is a fraud, run by a cabal of Globalist authoritarians who want 90% of Americans equally poor, hence the off shoring of what was industrial America. Possible because of the corruption of the Congress, de facto bought and paid for. The uni-party is most Republicans and all Democrats, fully committed to a whole policy only spiteful mutants want.

As long as they keep making E85. I’m hoping more stations around here get it so I won’t have to drive so far.

It’s an elite world and we’re just their pawns. Machine is in place. Even a revolution couldn’t reverse it. Of course there’s no unity in states of America. So revolution only happened once and never will again.

The Q is strong in this thread, as has been the case in several others lately. Let me guess - everyone is using VPN and no one is carrying a cell phone.

At Political Instability the historical model is the French Revolution. In the US that was Clinton for 8 years, Bush for 8 years then Obama for 8 years. That had almost destroyed the nation. Globalism, degenerate sexuality, multiculturalism. Trump was the Thermidorian Reaction, an attempt to reverse the revolution. What followed in late 1700's France was called The White Death, Biden is the White Death in 2022. Nato is at war with Russia, China is worse for the US than Russia ever was. That's what's really happening
