I want to paint my black 1LE Wheels silver or chrome. Experience?
Hi -
I want to paint my black 1LE Wheels silver or chrome. Has anyone here done this before? Can you post before and after pictures? I've heard that going chrome is bad for the wheels and a very toxic process, but painting silver gives a similar effect and lasts much longer. Suggestions and pics appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

 I painted mine chrome with a fist full of green...American racing torque thrust- m...they turned out phenomenally

I checked out page 26 as DRKS1D3 suggested. I personally am just not into chrome however, I think the Silver Machine Faced shown on the same page would look awesome. Powder Coating would be the way to go.

I personally think the black is much nicer. Chrome is so yesterday but if you really want then maybe see if you can trade someone. I know the blacks are a wanted item. Unless you want your style chrome.
