Im getting off topic but only for a sec. if trifecta isn't good what tuning co. is? im in the market for a tune in october/november. im thinking about trifecta because my friend works with them and has tuned many camaros and being that he can do logs right there with me i would assume i would have a more "spot on" tune.

The problem is today there are too many drivers that have the attitude that they should be able to drive any way they want as long as they feel its safe to do so.
I see it every day, total disregard for rules of the road and not only their own safety but the safety of others.
I don't care if you go out and drive 200 mph but just don't do it on the same roads others drive on. Do it on a racetrack.

Any sentence that starts with " the problem today" is simply a reminder that over time we all turn into our fathers.

I may be old, but I have not had an accident since 94, and no tickets since 77.
I can tell a bad driver when I see one.

Not so much a comment about your previous opinion as a generality based on my own experience when trying to explain the world to my grandkids.

Now back to our previously scheduled thread......

first of all, if your tracking your car, you already have given up on the power train warranty or will be soon, so the limiter is moot......

if your not tracking there is no need to go that fast period.......

dont really see what the problem is here myself

The fact that my 2011 1LT RS/RS and my 2013 1LE have the same speed limiter is just ridiculous.Obviously to me speed isn't an issue, and to some it is,so stay to the the right out of our way.I am a racer and see things at speed, and most aren't.I dont race on the street, and dont think it is ok to do so,especially since there are so many venues that we can get our need for speed, but to ask why someone would want to go 118 mph
There is more to it than just the tires. The SS and down trims are designed to create lift at speed and not down force. This is done for better mpg, but also makes the car unstable at high speeds.

Yep! Did ~150ish on an airstrip in the spring and it didn't feel nearly as planted as I would have liked....
