What air pressure do you run in your 325/50/15 on the street? I just put mine on yesterday.

Will never run 15’s on the street.

Why? Traction is much better than my Toyos. Of course if you never go WOT it doesn't matter

Drag radials suck on the street IMO. I detest the sway, floaty feeling at highway speeds and inability to take something resembling a fast corner. The R888R is way better on the street in my opinion. I keep the ET Street R for drag strip use only.

Car porn at its best Josh. I am trying the 17 inch D5’s rear with Nitto’s very soon. Just waiting for dyno time on this Tuesday to see what your FI Chiller & expansion tank does for me for in regards to a safe power number that the tuner sets for me. Looking forward to see your improvement with the 15’s because I may go that route next season.

Thanks my man. You can definitely do some damage with the 17’s for sure, so I’m sure you’ll rock and roll.

The rain has been never ending here in New England the past few weeks (and looks like the next couple weeks coming up too). If dry weather ever returns I’ll get my butt to the strip and try the new 15’s out!

Well, I finally got around to fitting these up today but not without some drama, of course. It looked *really* damn tight all the way around. I put the car in neutral to gently roll it outside and the car wouldn’t move…uh oh lol. The passenger side wheel kept hitting the BMR calipers (drivers side seems fine oddly enough). It took a couple of rounds of taking a file to the small boss that seemed to protrude out just a tiny bit near the outside corner of the caliper. I would file it down, then use a sharpie to fill it in, that way I would know if it was the same spot catching.

After a couple of tries the car now rolled freely to so I took it for a super easy 15-20 MPH cruise around the center of my town just to make sure there was nothing crazy going on. I’ll take it out for a few short drives to get a little more familiar with this setup and hopefully be good to go the next time we get a good track day lined up (weather-wise).

I've been following along , Josh , very nice impressive 5 star ***** , If they keep Wildhorse Pass open ,I want to step up to a Drag Pak , but no need of they close , nearest Strip would be Tucson, 5 plus hours round trip , I'm old had my fun for 25 plus yrs , can't do at that level anymore. We half to wait and see .

Here are a few pics showing where the caliper was hitting, how much I took off, and the final result. Hopefully this will help someone else out down the road if they decide to run 15” Forgestar D5 Beadlocks with the BMR 15” conversion. That said, how does BMR design a conversion that doesn’t clear the most common drag wheel on the planet lol…

15 inch conversion

I ended up using an 5/16 spacer to solve the rubbing problem. Had them on for 3 years now and 100 plus passes.

Interesting. I’d rather not run a spacer but will if I need to. I’m assuming you added longer lug studs to compensate?

Wheel studs

I'm still running the stock length studs. I check them with a torque wrench before I head to the track. I haven't had any problems in the three years I've been running them. Probably just jinks myself LOL. My car usually runs a low 1.40 60 foot.

What does your car make for power? I would be super nervous with a decent sized spaced like that on stock studs at >1K WHP… I think I’m in the clear with no spacers and just a little bit of filing away at that one spot on the caliper. Fingers crossed…!
