How much would it cost to switch a 2010 v8 Camaro to a clutch?

How much would it cost to switch a 2010 v8 Camaro to a clutch? I haven't look around much for this answer or any products. I knew the people on here would know. I know you would have to get a all new trans. But Idk anymore then that.

With the electronics, VVT, AFM, and all the other small distinctions that make an L99 an L99, you are much better served just trading it in and buying an LS3 M6.

This would be a project akin to the V8 swap in a V6 Gen 5. Probably doable, but at what cost? Your bank account, the integrity of the vehicle, and your sanity are just not worth it. IMHO of course.

So its basically the same horse and everything just the engine is made for manual? and if im putting a new engine in would it be worth while throwing in another thousand or so to get a bigger engine do you know of any?

That's all relative. The OP just wants to drive a real car instead of chick car.

If you want a clutch , sell your car and buy one with a M6 . You will save money , time ,and frustration .

Um a chick car? Some of us like to go faster at the dragstrip than most can do with a stick. I have had stick muscle cars most of my life but the new automatics are superior for drag racing. If you feel like you need to have a clutch to be a man that is pretty funny.

It cost me about $10K to swap from manual to auto. It's a built auto so I imagine it could have been done cheaper with stock parts. If you really want to know costs, contact RPM Transmissions.

People want to do this kind of thing, until they find out it costs thousands and many many hours.

If you want a manual transmission car, the cheapest route to one is buy a manual transmission car and sell whatever car or parts of a car you currently have.
