Ran a CAI brand intake on my V6 car. Was great. Fit and finish is very nice on those.

When I traded in on my SS I bought a Roto Fab to try something new. It is also made very nicely and comes with quality hardware and parts. It seals just as good as the CAI in my opinion. The CAI has a lid on top to seal it but my Roto Fab clearly seals tight against the hood as it leaves a black line on the hood and an impression in the sound mat after it's been closed up a while.

If I were to buy another one I'd probably buy the Roto Fab as it's just as nice and more affordable. The supposed couple HP difference between the two didn't matter to me.

I love my CAI some of my friends have Rotofab. After that there is a performance gain drop off based on the curves I saw on here, search the forums for more info.

i love my CAI intake but the Roto-Fab is a nice intake also. i personally would stay away from K&N, their box doesnt seal well and allows it to suck hot air from the engine compartment. the test that was done on all the intakes showed the K&N to have a higher intake air temp then the stock air box...the point of an intake isnt just more air but colder air.

Yeah, kinda ironic... "best" is an argument of like 1-2 peak hp. They all have improved throttle response, gas mileage, and power. It's just aesthetics and brand preference.

Minus the Injen long tube - it has the highest power gains. But that's probably negligible if you add the air scoop.
