I know on aftermarket camera I use you can have guide line or not on any screen. buy cutting the loops on the wire. Its the camera that provides the guide lines not the system. most likely the camera could be different which doesn't have guide lines. some years it matters what the manufacture can get their hands on when manufacturing the car. Ive seen some cars have backup cameras for one year and then the following year that model doesn't have them. It varies from model to model.

They may have guidelines but the installer was slightly off on positioning the Mylink screen.

I have installed a rear view camera on my 2014 from emerald intrgation. Works just fine with my link system, lines and all. Looks factory and works as a plug and play no cutting. Into any harnesses.

Can you be more specific? Did you already have a camera that you replaced with this one?

I have a MY14 Camaro 2LT RS and the MyLink Home Screen has a "Movie" icon. It lists movies playing at theaters close to your current location (like the very useful "Fuel" icon that shows the nearest gas stations & price/gal in increasing order).

Aren't all of these features tied to a paid service though like OnStar or XM. I have the icons on my 2014 but since I am not buying OnStar or XM I get no information from them. So just asking, aren't these fed by one of those service providers?
