performance for v6 2014

So i recently bought my 2014 LT (v6) camaro about three months ago. And was wondering if anybody has any ideas on what kind of performance work i can do to make it little faster or sound louder?

I do understand the warranty will be voided if i do any crazy work.

2014 1LT camaro. Has Dual Performance Exhaust from Dealer

I understand i can get an intake but there no point of getting just an intake if i do not do anything else with it.

an intake does a lot for these cars. you will find more info about performance mods in the LFX Engine, Exhaust, Bolt-On's thread

Definately do a cold air intake... it will really liven up the breathing and the motor sounds. Made my SS sound like a proper V8 compared to how quiet they make them stock.

If you have the dual mode, is yours a manual? Get a short throw shifter. Those make a huge difference. I had one back in the day in a 98 Firebird. B&M Ripper for the T5 5 speed back then. Not sure what the V6 Camaros have in them, but I am sure they have a short throw shifter out there.

Appearance mods are also safe. Window tint, front splitter, side skirts, wheels... Stripes if you like them and yours did not come with them.

Just a couple of ideas.

intake, ported throttle/body, tune, high flow cats, manifold spacer...

Aside from a few other small items in the works, those are about your options. Since you have the optional exhaust, I doubt you'd want to switch that out.

This list has about all you can do to the LFX. Cold Air Intake, intake spacer, tune, ported throttle body, high flow cats and full cat back exhaust. All this will net a small amount of HP and make the LFX loud and a little more responsive. Only way to get a significant performance boost is through forced induction.

Mine sadly is an automatic. Haha dont ask why. And the dual exhaust I bought from dealer is a nice sounds and I paid for that so I wouldnt want to change anything with that. Plus I like having the four exhaust tips in the back of the car. I have done exterior mods. I have tints. I dipped my emblems and wheels. Im mainly now looking for a louder sound and more hp I guess

Forced induction. Superchargers and turbos. That is where the real power is at but it's not cheap: most are packages $5,000 and up. I would definitely get a cold air intake (CAI) and look into high flow cats if you want louder. The ported throttle body and intake spacer would also change the sound slightly. A tune would help you utilize all these additions to their fullest and make use of high octane fuel (91 or 93) and can even increase MPG as well as remove the speed limiter at 118 MPH.

Alright thank you, i have looked before at the supercharger and turbo kits but did not find many that i like that are for a 2014 v6... plus id have to save a lot since they are expensive kits and im sure they are not cheap to get installed.

Its also hard finding anything for a 2014 right now

Yes, it is the best bang for the buck, at least for the LLT it is.
