Honestly, I haven't even thought about the hid kit -- I didn't even know that was an option.

What is the difference besides the bulb itself? Pros of going that direction I mean?

I'm no lighting expert but I can tell you that they are definitely brighter than a halogen bulb. I believe they also run cooler and use less power than halogen (35W hid kit compared to 55W halogen).

I was checking it out on the site, and what exactly would I need?

The 35 or 55W?
The error eliminator?
The adaptor cables? Harness? Etc?

If I'm going to go and do this, of course I want to go and do it right the first time you know? It began with just wanting to make the fogs be the same color as the headlights!

Shoefly,... Can you tell me what I'm looking at in this picture you uploaded please?

Thank You.
Jim

P.S. OIC,.. that's the underside of the Ballast unit.
I take it that the hole was already there? I'm hoping?

I finally got my HID Fog Lights installed today and Holy Shit What a PITA it was to do,...
I am so glad that its over with now.

Oh and BTW the picture above that Shoefly22 posted,... (Still Appreciate The Pic Tho) There is Only One Mounting Hole like that and its on the Drivers side of the car, The Passenger Side does Not have the same mounting hole present, or at least my car didn't.

I was also surprised when I ordered my HID Lights that I had to wait for them to be shipped to me all the from China also, im not sure if i would have still ordered them from the same place and paid the extra $18.95 or what ever it was for shipping when i could have just got the same Chinese Fog Lights from eBay for $29.95 with Free Shipping.

Again,.. I'm so glad that its finally done and off my list of things to do.
Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions,..
If anyone is about to attempt this and needs advise please feel free to P.M. me.
Here's a pic of the completed job.

The difference is Night & Day haha,...
I went with the HID 5000k and the color seems to be spot on and I'mreally hhappy with it andit has really improved my ability to see things at night time, I'm really glad Iwent this route and not with the LED's and I feel so much better now knowing that when people see me driving with them on they dont see two different color light bulbs coming out of the front end of my car.
