Thanks alot! Trying to figure out what color to get -- prob something in the 8k-12k range since the headlights seem to be that color range?

Also have to see about the extras - Mounting Brackets, HID Harness and Error Eliminator. Are they all necessary?
5k matches factory HID. That's what I ordered.
Will be home tomorrow to take picture.

Go with 5k if you want to match the factory HID bulb. I got 6k from ddmtuning because I'll be switching my headlight bulbs as well.

This seems like a pretty good deal,...
Actually, The best I've seen so far as far as my research goes tonight and within the last 4 to 5 hours of doing it.

No one answered your question tho about if we're going to be needing any of those extras or brackets tho which I'm wondering about. I went to that link to see if our Cars were listed saying we required the brackets or not but it doesn't look like it's been updated since the mid 2k.

That Ballast looks kind of heavy, has anyone noticed any bouncing around of it or is there a way to secure it so it doesn't do that while driving over Bad Roads and Highways?

I'm just one of those Weirdo's that hear everything while driving and wonder what it is, I'm sure I'm not alone when its comes to their car on this forum tho.

Thanks for all of your help guys.

Jim.

I mounted the ballasts to the frame behind the bumper/inner wheel well. No extra hardware needed.

I haven't actually been able to see what that area looks like yet, how were you able to mount the Ballast to the Frame? Zip ties or something? That seems like a pretty long distance from the Fog light area to the Frame but like I said I haven'thad the chance to look at that area yet.

Thanks for your help and suggestions. Please let me know how you mounted it?

Jim

I went underneath and took the bulb out. This is it.

What is the talk of ballasts and stuff referring to? This is just a bulb, right? I'm getting another, just in the 5,000K temperature to match the halo color?

What you have is only a bulb, what they have is a HID bulb, and it need a ballasts to work.

For their log lights? Did it come with the car as stock? I'm confused. I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

The stock fog is a H11 bulb I believe. No ballast or bracket. I'm going to get a 5k color, H11 then?

Yes, if you don't want to go with an HID kit all you need is the 5k H11 bulb. Looking through some sites, it looks like the bulbs you want cost more than an HID kit from DDM. Any reason why you don't want to go with an HID kit?
