I believe somewhere in between 10% and 20% but I'm not sure. I told him I wanted it as dark as possible but still be legal in Oklahoma.

Be careful with mods. For some, it started with a skip-shift eliminator, next thing you know you have close to $10k invested...

The first thing I changed on my car that made a world of difference was taking my bone-stock yellow SS and having stripes painted on (granted, it's not really "one small thing"). I also had the wheels powdercoated, all the chrome blacked out, and the windows tinted at the same time.

Mine was a bone stock LS. I plasti dipped my wheels, added satin vinyl to the hood and an OEM style spoiler from ebay, also in vinyl.

Total cost was less than $450. But I also added Flowmaster Super 40s which isn't technically cosmetic but you can't see the big tin cans anymore from behind.

Did you install it yourself? It's pretty nerve wracking to drill into your brand new car. I measured 4 times to make sure it was right.

Yup, I spent a lot of time just making sure it was centered. Also was one of Ebay. Spoilers on there are much better than when I checked in february so bit the bullet.

I also replaced my speakers and fatmatted. So I have prolly spent about 400 total so far. Want to add some stripes next, but dont think I will do those myself.

Wheels and Tint for me. Both of those always make the biggest difference to a car's appearance. But I'm a low key kinda guy. I bought a bunch of billet stuff for the Mustang and only used the door-lock knobs. Everything else was too over the top, so back it goes.

I picked the pair up on ebay back in March or so. Did the custom wiring($40) myself. I also installed RS headlights and a heritage grille.

I've been checking from time to time but there's only ever 1 driver side tail light on there from Gen5DIY. I've never seen a set or passenger side.
