Does it come with a phaser? And would it be politically incorrect to NOT set it to stun?

A performance EV. I can see it now. A $1500 electricity guzzler tax starting in California and soon to the whole country. Then you have the battery mileage problem. If you drive too aggressive, you get a 20 mile range on the battery.
Hate to be a naysayer but Duracell still can't power my flashlight more than 20 total minutes of use.

I read earlier this year, Cadillac was to debut the Celestiq this summer, i read it was likely to be July or August. Haven't really seen any more new about it. I'd think the Celestiq, although really high end, would give us a better idea of where GM is going with an electric sedan.

This issue must be ignored in order for the inevitable EV future to be a success. Just move along....Nothing to see here....lol

Autoline Daily

Yesterday's episode of Autoline Daily had quite a few nuggets of interest on this path to electrification that we are clearly heading down.
  • Pilot program on installing charge points in street lampposts for city dwellers who don't have dedicated parking.
  • Alfa Romeo going 100% EV by 2027. Other Stellantis brands to follow. If you look quickly, and/or freeze frame (3:43), you can see silhouettes of the Dodge products that are going EV
  • Carbon-free recharging. Solar powered windmills collect and distribute power
  • Reservations starting soon for Cadillac Lyriq (yours truly may be placing a reservation)

Congratulation. The Cadillac Lyriq is gorgeous.

Do you have any concerns about being an early adopter? Technology stability, reliability, etc.

Nope. I know a lot of the development people. They don’t want to see me should things go south.
