new owner of a 2016 camaro 2ss
Hey guys,
so i'm not new to camaros as this is my 2nd one. Saying that, this forum didn't help me in getting used to the new gen without even owning one would be a lie. For the past 2 years, i have been on this forum every day hoping this day would come soon enough. i owned a 2013 camaro 2ss L99 before and i loved it. unfortunately and modified it a lot and paid the price with a blown transmission(a lot of money to replace it) and finally cylinder 1 lost all compression. So i lurked and lurked, trying to figure out what to look, how responsive is the 6th gen and so many threads about how much owners loved it so yesterday i finally went and got me one. Boy, i tell you it's night and day compared to a 5th gen. I prayed so hard not to end up with a lemon and so far i'm loving this camaro so much. the 8th speed is ridiculously well tuned and i wonder how much faster it gets with a tune which based on my lessons learned i'm in no rush to find out. Thanks you guys for being the biggest factor in me acquiring this vehicle also thanks to the guys at lonestar chevy in houston especially Joe singleton. I'm still learning about it and i know you guys are the best teachers when it comes to this car |

Congrats, I picked mine up today from Houston and brought it back here to Louisiana, but mine is a Red Hot 17 1SS and it is a big step up from the 10 1LT that I had.

My 16 2SS is my first Camaro and I use it as my daily driver. It blows away anything I've ever owned and I've had plenty of nice cars.

Congrats! I had a 2010 1SS, and I bought my 2017 1SS Nightfall Gray Metallic 6 weeks ago. I love it! I'm still easing into it, break-in-wise. I know some people will get right into it, but I give it the 1500 miles before seeing what it can really do. I can't wait! Enjoy your new ride!
