True, as am I. But here we are on a Camaro forum, so we know the tradition. Those who are not steeped in the tradition as fans or owners, and who come from other brands and other segments of cars <cough> sports cars and sports sedans <cough> may not spend time on car specific forums and for that reason just not get it.

Spotted my first ZL1 in the wild over the weekend. It was about 8PM on Saturday, Silver Ice Metallic ZL1 travelling eastbound on Central Expressway at Scott Blvd. in Santa Clara.

I was cruising to work doing about 70-75mph on southbound I280 this morning at about 6:30. Before I knew it, a black Camaro was right behind me. It was in the slow lane, moving pretty fast when I first spotted it in my rear view mirror, but I didn't realize it was a Camaro immediately until it pulled in behind me and I saw the tell tale DRLs. Then it steadily passed me on the left in the fast lane. I didn't get that good of a look at it when it was behind me, but I believe it had an aftermarket hood. It also had dark tinted windows and looked like it had an RPI spoiler. Was that anyone here on the forum?

Last night, around 6PM, I was driving north on Bernardo Ave. in Sunnyvale, CA. As I approached a stoplight, I could see the distinct tail lights of a Camaro. It was a NGM ZL1. I followed behind it until it turned into the Cherry Chase Center/Safeway parking lot on Bernardo and El Camino Real. I was checking it out as it pulled in and noticed the passenger looking in my direction. I believe the driver honked as I continued down Bernardo. Any chance the owner is a member here?
