Noob Stereo Question

Hi,
I have a 2011 Camaro SS Convertible. I have the BA system in there now.
I would NEVER speed. However, when my top is down, I can't hear the music that much. Everyone that I've spoken with said there's nothing I can do. Can I just add an Amp? Or speakers? Sorry for being a Noob,
Thanks in advance!

Replacing the stock amp would help quite a bit. I think the stock amp is under 300watts.

I found that my 2010 Coupe was at 20 + on the volume when on the freeway with the windows down , and I could barely hear it. By the time I got it loud enough distorion would start to set in. I had a friend help me install a new amp in the trunk. Took the BS amp out. All is good now. Very happy. I was not looking to win a loud contest, but certainly wanted a little more.
