Yea, but with that thinking you will never upgrade. Its like people who were holdign out for 14's (and with the seats, I cant blame them)-in 2016 they will want the new one. Then the 2018's will have more upgrades- its a never ending cycle. Luckily we have a platform that's relatively cheap to mod, and has plenty of options

If you're always hunting down for the faster stock car, you'll never stop until you get the Bugatti. Be happy with what you have... I don't get why you'd even bother getting the car if you don't like it.

Try reading the other posts before making a comment about why I bought the car.

I did. It doesn't change the fact that you shouldn't have settled in the first place and my point still stands that if you continue to hunt down the faster stock car to bench race, you won't stop until you hit the Bugatti.

Buy a V6 now and mod or wait and buy an SS?

Wait and SS. Get the credit up before you buy the call you really want, which I assume is the SS.

Why? If you buy the V6 and mod now, you may regret it and want to "upgrade" to the SS like a lot of people here. Some trade in their V6->SS and take a small/large hit.

If you're not in a hurry, don't make a mistake.

If you want a track monster save your money for the SS if your want your car just for the street you can make the LFX a quick car with some reasonably priced bolt ons.

Just throwing this out there you could probably trade your car in for an 11 or 10 v8 SS right now. From a dealers POV it's easier to sell a used 2013 car that still has a warranty. Could mod away on a 10 or 11 SS as well. Just a thought

I come from the Mustang world which of course have all been V8's. I love my LS with the stick. It is fun and plenty fast for daily driving but nothing beats the sound of the V8.
