To add x pipe or not? Opinions please!

I'm running Kooks LT w high flow cats, Magnaflow muffler delete, sounds great I love it, but, I would like to know how a Magnaflow TruX xpipe will affect the sound and if the hp/tq gains are noticible or worth it. I appreciate any input

Borla includes X-pipe with their catback systems for what it's worth. Suppose to help scavenging but gains are probably minimal..... like most "improvements" after the cats.

There will be a slight change in the sound but no performance gains. If you are happy with the sound you have I would not bother.

Slight change as in pitch? Or decel popping/rasp?

I like my setup but I would like it to be a little louder/throatier without having to delete my cats. I'm on stock pipes, H and factory resonators.. Should I delete the resonators? Add the x and delete resonators?

I just did x pipe and cat delete, much louder. Pulls a little harder but I did two mods at the same time.

There will be a slight gain with an X pipe, but not enough to really mention. You will notice a smoother RPM climb and a different tone though. I prefer the Magnaflow Tru-X pipes or resonated X pipes depending on the tone you are after.

Best regards,

Yeah I'm just debating on whether or not to replace the H with the X. I want louder/deeper tone but idk that the X will give me that. I also like the rasp. I already ordered the X pipe so maybe I'll put it on and see. BUT.. I think it'd be ghetto to re weld the H back on if I dont like the result with the x pipe. Or maybe keep the H and delete my little resonators? (Or maybe I'm thinking way to hard about this )
