Is MRC worth it?
Is Mag Ride worth it? I’ve heard it doesn’t really make a difference and that it barely last 50k miles. Would it be worth adding to a 2SS non 1le?

Yes in my opinion it is worth the extra money but that’s just my thinking. You have to factory order MRC and can’t add it to a Camaro after you take ownership.

I have it on my 2SS and love it, Tour is great for cruising and Sport or Track is great for having some fun with some "spirited" driving... I would also highly recommend the "Dual Mode Exhaust" (NPP)...

The majority who don’t have it will say it’s not worth it and the majority who do have it will say it is.
My 2016 1SS didn’t have it. My 2018 does. Having driven an SS both with and without I think it’s worth it. |

Of course MRC comes standard on my 1LE, but yes I would say it is definitely worth having. As others have mentioned the different drive modes actually make a difference in how the suspension works.

My 16 1ss was awesome without it, lowered it as I have my 2022 Lt1 and handles as good as you will ever want. Just like the firm ride without it, you feel the road and curves. Drag race launches are great also.

If I still lived in Florida with reasonably smooth roads, I'd say not really. In Michigan, a must.

Can anyone speak to the reliability of it though? Im just afraid it won’t last like a normal suspension

62,000 miles so far. Tires and oil changes are all I’ve needed.
