Hennessey upgrades for the 2016 Camaro?
im really hoping Hennessey will have a hpe1000 upgrade for the 2016 Camaro pushing 1000 hp or something like a hpe700 upgrade from Hennessey pushing 700hp that would be amazing.
im also wondering if anyone could do a photoshop picture of what a 2016 Hennessey Camaro might look like.

I would say that HPE650 would be the highest for the LT1

Hennessey has advertised their performance packages 600 hpe and 650 he for roughly a month now. Probably not much more than that though bc the 2015 corvette stingray performance they offer is a 700 hpe

650hp is gonna be easy. all the base kits will be around there. Also I guarantee whipple will put out a 700hp (flywheel) emission legal kit with the 2.9 blower just like with the mustang. I'll be getting one!

I'm not sure the typical TVS is going to fit under that stock hood.
Probably the LT4 is the only thing with a chance of fitting. I hope we see it go directly in without loss of HP in the next zl1. Maybe the new Heartbeat TVS will fit. |

There will be aftermarket hood choices including hi-rise hoods soon after the Gen5 makes its presence known to the general public.

LT1 can get a nice boost without much money. Throw a Super Charger on and you can get even bigger numbers.
This LT1 Stingray motor hit 700+ HP and 625 ft-lb torque without a blower, for fairly cheap. http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/...-supercharger/

I must have missed the sarcasm font, because those Katech build regularly run $20k+. As noted in the article, their similar LS7 build is $27k. You can get your choice of s/c set up, installed, and tuned for around $10k. Cheaper if you go procharger type instead of roots.

Just as a fair warning... Hennessy has copyright on their name, so yall can render all you want but don't add the Hennessy name. There's talk about a 650hp lt4 engine possibly being choice for the zl1. I think it'd be useless to make a hpe650 when the zl1 may be there already. They should do a hpe700-1000 model. For the price, the zl1 would get off cheaper vs a Hennessy of the same power.
This is if they use the 650 lt4... But it's just speculation for now A great example is the new mustang gt350 is $50,000.... Gt350r is $65,620.... The Hennessy is $59,000... Now that's sub 600hp (gt350) vs 717hp (Hennessy)... Why would you buy the gt350? There's no point when you can get a much better car for $9,000 more and way better than the 350r price... I say hpe700 or better. Don't settle for just as good as the mustang... Let bust the mustang. We're already gonna be better aerodynamically, possibly a lot lighter (or equal), and better handled, let's make it better period... Raise the bar way higher

I doubt it will fir under a C7 but perhaps under the Camaro hood ? like that blower very much, big capacity with relative low pressure. But these "outdated" chevy engines with only 1cam and 2valves have´nt such a potential like modern coyotes ? perhaps we should be satisfied to get out 650hp safe ? in germany there are Mustangs with that blower running safe with 700hp. |
