Yep. Cars like these can be expensive if you check all the boxes. Here is a $50,455 GT convertible with no auto trans, no mag ride, no HUD, etc...

Yep, all the new Mustangs get quite expensive once you start clicking the option boxes.

I was at my Chevy dealer this morning, He told me they were told not to expect any 16 Camaros until Mid January or February. There are so many 15 Camaro's on the lot they don't want to jam the market! He was funny they have 12 Camaro's and 1 Z/28. The Z/28 was there since Sept of last year. He told me they park the Z near an old tree in the back and hope lighting hits the tree so it can take out the car so they can get the insurance out of it. funny..

MSRP or OTD before TTT?

I was figuring a 2SS A8 MRC NPP at 50-51k MSRP maybe 47.5-48 selling price.

Because if that's OTD, I'll be getting a 5-10k miles used C7 instead.

When I ordered my 2011 convertible, It configured it pretty much with all the option including the optional 21" wheels for $5k, the ground effects, optional exhaust, factory stripe, etc, etc.

Fully loaded it was right at $50k.

It wouldn't surprise me if a FULLY LOADED 2016 convertible 'could' hit $60k.

My loaded 2013ZL1 convertible stickered at $63k

Wouldn't they just rather sell it at a discount then take the hit on a high insurance claim that will no doubt increase their insurance rates?????

Someone should walk in and offer $50k out the door for it if they want to get rid of it that bad.

The dealer my gf works at has a z/28 and a SS sedan sitting inside and they can't sell either of them. I always wondered how the sedan would have done had it had the lt1 instead of the ls3.

Yeah that's way to close to zl1 price without zl1 parts. (Supercharger,brakes,wheels/tires)

When I bought my SS Sedan all at the dealership where talking about how long it had been sitting in the showroom & didn't think it would ever sale.

They gave us above retail value in traded for our 2012 Camaro SS/RS + took $4K off MSRP then installed (free) a clear bra package & carbon fiber bowties. The SS Sedan may not look as good as the Camaro but I like its low key looks and that the SS Sedan is quicker, handles better, rides better, sounds better, has functional back seats (for our grandkids), heated and cooled seats, better visibility and gets the same mpg.

My wife & I have owned every gen of Camaro (10 in all) and we are leaning heaving on getting a Gen6 2SS Conv

You can build a $56K V6 Camaro right now if you wanted to. Fifth generation.
