Are you referring to normal times or hero runs?

like a few others said above 12.2-12.4, I'll go a step further... 113mph at the line for auto, 12.3-12.5 for 6 spd @ 114mph.

Drag radials or full slicks aired down should definitely get the average driver into the high 11s.

Looking forward to see what it will take to get into the 10's
(slicks, heads, headers, cam, intake & tune)

3 - 12.4 from the magazines. I'll go ahead and drop the mike here.
There's no way the stock SS is going to be able to run 11.9.. my guess is 12.5 and 0-60 of 4.2 seconds.

The ZL1 can do 11.9 and it has .141 hp for every pound.

The 2016 SS will have .126 for every pound, assuming it weights 3600 pounds.

And the ATS-V tested was 3780lbs and ran 12.1 with 0.122hp per your formula. Numbers don't always tell the whole story.

Yea your right I'm always thinking old school, technology is crazy new.

The new 2015 BMW M3 ran 11.9 with 425 hp weighing in at 3500 pounds. Its crazy!

I really hope for the best for the SS, if I ran 11.9 I would be happy.

That one is a little easier to explain, BMW doesn't use SAE rating. 425hp is probably what it makes at the wheels.

Drag radials changes the equation, 11.9 all day.

I don't think heads should be in there...

Cam, Stock Dual Mode Exhaust, Intake and custom tune with Slicks im thinking will be low 11's... add a 150 shot and low 10's

I wonder what my ZL1 could do with slicks and some minor mods. I'm thinking about getting the phastek or lingerfelter 650hp package.

A 15 GT running 12.4 will be as common as a 6th gen Camaro SS running 11.8-11.9. Few and far between. I see a lot of 12.1-12.2 times for a good run on a 8 speed SS
Right we've been saying this and caught alot of flak for it also.

The zl1 is rather slow for the power it has. They should be an easy high 11sec car and its not. It's normally a low 12sec car.

Mid to low 11's if you can drive.

I would not be shocked at all to see a 6th gen Camaro SS auto get into the very high 11s stock.
Mag times will be in the 12.4-12.5 range. I'll be happy to eat crow here if it does better on the stock tires.
