Yea it is a little pricey, but to me and how it performs and drives just like a stocker and the gains I got with it is well worth the money, in my book. Not to mention the attention it gets at the shows, just about every show I have attended since I installed it, 1 or 2 people ask me what brand of SUPER CHARGER is that?? lol.

Hood pins are a must. I've seen many carbon fiber hoods latch break and open under speed.

Carbon Fiber Hoods
I love my CF hood, but they dont come without things to consider
The biggest issue in these hoods: 1) The shippers dont pad these boxes as well as they should ( went through 3 hoods) until I got one that was damaged (VMS) 2) These dont do great under heavy sun, its just a fact 3) If you ever damage the CF you will have issues finding anyone to repair it for less than what you paid I have the Hotchkiss hood pins, but had the holes professionally drilled, its a sketchy thing to do yourself |
