Key 2023 dates:

Build-Out: 8/3/23
Final Dealer Order Submission Week: 6/15/23
Final 2023 Dealer Consensus: June Cycle 1
Well if Dodge can run production of the Charger and Challenger on for eternity hopefully GM gives the Camaro a good run. It’s still the best muscle car out there at least in terms of handling (although very few care about that if sales are any indication).

Sequoia, 4Runner too. I’d guess Charger and Challenger as well?

Brand loyalty is alright until you get a bunch of slow Ford guys posting the same BS so many times that they start to think it's true.

Chrysler got the platform from a old Mercedes e class, I think, when they were with diamler. It has been improved. The Camaro platform is much better.

That’s great news! I’m rooting for the American made V8 ICE vehicles no matter the badging. Sadly a lot of people have never or will never experience these pony cars. My election pitch .. more cylinders less antidepressants!

There are certain generations of cars where I thought, “they should just keep making this and refine it, instead of redesigning it.” The E46, the 993, the Quattroporte 5, the gen 2 Viper to name a few.

I feel the same way about the 6th gen. The proportions and driver inputs are just great in my opinion. The dash is simple and easy to use with a good mix of physical controls. Maybe some buttons could feel nicer but I far prefer it to the soulless giant LCD slapped on the dash that’s de rigueur nowadays.

How about giving the V8 lighter internals and changing the IM so it can breathe better up top. I’m not saying I need 8000rpms and ITBs (though that would be awesome). 360 camera wouldn’t hurt either!
