The goodyear tire is decent but I agree we should've got michelin pss like the vette....wow, they are expensive...

Yes it is..very poor.

The 245's are the same size that they put on the 5.7 Challengers (375 HP 400 TQ)...and the Scat Pack is 100lbs heavier and has 100 more HP and 70 more TQ..

Good plan Dodge...

Even a 285 isn't enough tire for these cars, the SS and Vette should come with a 305 series tire at minimum.

I'm honestly interested in their "Triple Intercooler System"......

Wonder how this works....

I always thought that was funny, we get same rear tires as a 707hp monster.... of course the hellcat wants to kill u, don't ever take that around corners without major upgrades but then again it's still way too big,lol.... funnier yet, the 485 hp scat pack gets 245 tires...

I've ridden in a stock tired Hellcat...it's not that bad.

Should it have had 305's stock? Sure..but it's not like it's stock tire size is dangerously small or sub-capable.

But the hellcat gets down the track. 11.7s is laughable with that kind of power/weight

The Challenger is really limited on how big a tire you can fit. I read that the platform it was built on wasn't made to fit wife tires.

I think to the point of people complaining about tire sizes, a lot of advancements have been made in tire design and compounds over the last 5-10 years. If they had a factory 450BHP Camaro in 1998 with 275s on the rear then it would suck at putting the power down.

It's based off the same basic platform from the 2005 Charger/Magnum/300...

I'm wondering what's the largest tire size you can fit under the 6th Gen Camaro. I probably won't go any larger than a 305 as my car will be a daily driver and my power mods will be limited.

That's just what I read. I'm not a Dodge guy so I don't know what those cars have for rear tires.

I'd actually like to see some real pictures, dyno chart(s) and everything else... Hennessey has been doing the same thing for months which I am sure now that they have their shop car, they will update it with the real thing.

Give Callaway some time, the preliminary info was just released yesterday. Callaway is really active on Corvette Forum which is where I first found out about them doing a Camaro.
