Be careful not to underestimate the GT350R. The HP and TQ numbers have not been released. It is more than advertised. And it will be lighter than the Gen6.

One thing Ford does do better than GM with their performance line is matching trans and rear gear ratios to get the max. out of their powertrains in a wide variety of street and track conditions.

The 5.2 flat plane crank will rev. to 8200 rpm. Who knows where the peak HP and TQ numbers will be and at what rpm.

There are a bunch of "car guys" running Ford and it's performance group now, some race quite regularly. If anything it will be fun to sit back and watch.

I will steadfastly prepare for the 6th-gen race-spec Camaro to take down the gt350r with ease.

'Ain't nothing Ford can do that Chevy can't do better...more reliably.

Benjamin Parker, 28, of Cincinnati, O.H. is a retired army Staff Sergeant who was deployed to Afghanistan twice as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader. Safely disarming more than 300 IEDs and saving countless lives during his tours of duty, Parker received two bronze stars for his bravery. “I don’t consider what I did heroic I was just doing my job,” said Parker. “I am deeply honored and humbled to be a finalist.” After his second tour, Parker returned home and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Devastated to have to end his army career, Parker decided to pursue another passion and against all odds received his pilot’s license and now works as an aircraft mechanic. Born in Indianapolis, Parker is an avid NASCAR fan and used to set alarms and call his dad from a satellite phone overseas so they could watch races together. Parker looks forward to returning to the Brickyard 400 as a finalist and watching his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The contest allows Chicago style voting. Vote early and vote often!

Great video Pete. It should be shown at Intermediate and High Schools and any place where girls gather. Will make sure that my friend Dr Karen Salvaggio who is on the Womens Board at SEMA sees it.
