Me too. Love the M6 in both my Camaro's.

Of course neither of them are daily drivers. I would be tempted to buy an A10 if mine was a daily driver.

Heh, the mansmission crew is out in full force The automatic trans in the Camaro is fantastic, and the only way you won't miss the 2SS features is if you never ride in or drive a 6th gen 2SS or ZL1.

Unfortunately, however, the dealership is trying to hit you with some pre-covid trade-in and depreciation logic, and if I'm brutally honest, the 2SS extras are awesome but nowhere near ten grand awesome. All in all, I'd pass.

Do you drive it in sport mode? Love the 10 speed in my 2019 6.2 Silverado no issues whatsoever

The 2SS/ZL1 features are nice. However, sometimes my ZL1 almost feels too luxurious and too refined for what it is. My 1SS 1LE by comparison is more basic, louder and more raw feeling. Because it lacks things like backup sensors, blind spot warnings and front collision warning, it forces you to focus more on driving.

Both are nice and great driving cars. They are just different. Each has its own pros and cons.

I wanted a 1ss when I bought mine because I didn't want unneeded luxuries and gadgets that add nothing to the sports car driving experience. If I wanted luxury, I would have bought a Caddy CTS-V. And paying $10K more it would be a hard no for me. Just my opinion of course.

That's exactly why I initially purchased my 1SS 1LE M6. I wanted a relatively bare bones great driving sports car. I would call it a modern old school driving experience.

Suggestions??
I recently bought a manual 6th gen 2SS 1LE. I rented both an automatic (10 speed) and manual 6th gen SS on Turo before buying mine...I wouldn't have bought a Camaro if I couldn't find one with a manual. It might be different with a ZL1, but the automatic SS was kind of boring to me unless I was pushing it really hard. I've owned quite a few manual transmission cars before, but the Tremec in the Camaro is special for the price. It's an incredibly good manual transmission.

In my personal opinion, I would keep your 23' 1LE M6.

I love the Riptide Blue, but absolutely no reason to lose that much from your current car to get a 24'

I have a 23' 2SS A-10 in Sharkskin, debated the M6 but I didn't want to it as a daily. Only way I would get rid of mine is for a ZL1, but there's no dealer near me that's remotely close to selling at MSRP.

I'm gonna jump in on this. +1 for my A10 peps out there! I got the A10 instead of a manual because I was trying to appease the wife, who later told me she has no interest in driving the 2SS. Anyway, now that I have it I love how responsive it is. I agree with everyone else, taking that huge hit on a practically new vehicle is shameful.

I agree with arpad, the 2SS extras are great. I just don't know if they worth taking that kind of hit to get them.

Passed on the deal. You guys are all correct, taking a 10k hit for a different color and 2SS options would have been pretty stupid. My M6 1LE is a true drivers car that doesn't need the extras. Thanks everyone (most of you) for confirming my decision.
