Anyone else think the 6th gen SS 1LE looks better than the ZL1?
I'm not a fan of the ZL1 front clip as well as the rear spolier(non 1LE ZL1). Also, I like the wheels better on the SS 1LE.

I like them equally.
I just hate the nostrils on the SS hood. Why they didn’t go with an extractor like the ones on the C7 or ATS/CTS is beyond me.

No, the ZL1 front end is better IMO and it has the side-skirts, which you can add to the 1LE of course, but that still leaves one thing in favor of the ZL1. I think otherwise they are about equal. I do like the SS 1LE wheels better than the ZL1-1LE wheels, but that's minor.

I think the ZL1 grille and fenders are too much unless it has 1LE. The front wheels have a less aggressive fitment despite being the same size. Also like the blade spoiler over pedestal and the five spoke wheels too although that one is easy to fix. Ironically the most common question I get on my SS 1LE is if it's a ZL1. Whatever.

That said, I think the front bumper and hood for the ZL1 just make the car look so much more aggressive. The wheels I would say are about even, I would take either set to be honest. As for the spoiler, I think most would agree that the Blade spoiler is one of the best, if not best looking spoilers for the car period...

I agree. Same as the fith gen too. The 1le looked better then the ZL1 in that generation too, and I had a gen5 ZL1.
Im not fan of that funky grill on the ZL1, but at the same time its badass looking. Weird. |

Never liked the front wing things on the ZL1 1LE. Heard them called canards but I'm not sure if that's right. Reminds me of this:

ZL1 looks better IMO but I like em both.

I think the SS 1LE looks best on the street. The ZL1 is alright. The ZL1 1LE looks a little ridiculous on the street in my opinion. Maybe a little bit riced out. Definitely looks better going around a track. The rims and spoiler on the SS 1LE are probably two of my favorite styling features I've seen from the factory.

50/50...there are things I like and dislike about both the SS/1LE and ZL1.

Both great looking muscle cars, both deserving of respect for their amazing performance. The couple times I’ve seen a 1LE SS when I was out driving my ZL1.....I definitely had to stare and drool a little (and give the respect wave)!
