Is this normal?

I had the triple flush done at the dealership month or two ago and on my way home from a 20 mile trip that I’ve done 1000 times I felt the rumble. Well, it’s going in. But I noticed that the transmission temp was at 200...is this the normal temp for the A8? I’ve never seen it this high. The rumble is back as well and it’s horrible.

Yea that's very high for the A8 unless your driving hard. Just driving normally mines around 130ish

Nope just a normal commute. About a hour and a half of driving. No hard pulls. Calling the dealership tomorrow

I should ad I never really saw the temp move. It’s always been at 100 or 120.

I had the flush done also 2 weeks ago and I am monitoring the car day to day. My issue is the torque converter is slipping. In 8th gear, steady speed the RPM's fluctuate back and forth 200 RPM- the tach needle moves up and down, After the flush it still moves up and down but only by about 50 RPM. Are your RPM's steady in 8th gear- does you tach needle move up and down- even just a little bit? I wonder if I need to bring it back again for a new torque converter..........

In 8th gear, it sits around 1500 rpm at 65-70 mph. And when it shudders, that’se when the rpm moves about 50-100 rpm. I made an appointment for Monday. I have a vacation to Florida (where I plan to move in a couple years) and I don’t need this going on. I pay monthly for a beautiful machine that I love I want it to run for a very long time.
